This is our biodegradable refill pack to go with the glass-jarred version of this popular all-round clay mask. Of course, if you already have the perfect jar for it, you can just fill it up! Do make sure your jar is about 250ml ;)

Our organic, dry face mask has been carefully formulated for all skin types. Using three ingredients only, red montmorillonite clay and organic hibiscus & rose powder, we made a simple face mask that is suitable for all.

Oh, and the rose and hibiscus smell amazing too, adding to the relaxing experience.

It balances and gently exfoliates leaving your skin feeling soft, rejuvenated and glowing. You can activate the mask with cooled teas, yoghurts (fantastic for dry skin) or just plain water. We advise to use this face mask no more than 3 times a week and that you moisturise immediately after.

TIP: If you use botanical steamers, drain and save your steaming water in the fridge to mix with your face mask!

Recycling: this is a plant based pouch and zip and should not be added to paper recycling. It is fully biodegradable and can be composted at home.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE: clay should not get in contact with any metal containers! (this preserves the clay's negative charge, making it work at its best)

Red Montmorillonite Bentonite Clay

This is the purest form of Bentonite Clay. It has some exceptional qualities that can really work well for you.

Named after the French Mont Morillon, montmorillonite is the main compound that is found in bentonite clay. It has some unique properties that make it incredibly useful as a facial cleansing medium. It can simultaneously remove excess oils and bind with toxins on our skin, making them easy to remove.

Mostly formed from the weathering of volcanic ash, it is a rock forming silicate (a family of minerals that include sand and clay) that has both an absorbing quality, swelling with oils or water, as well as an adsorption, or binding, function. Having a permanent negative charge it binds to positively charged molecules, which is what many of the toxins on our skin are.

Hibiscus Leaf Powder

This powder is high in antioxidants, zinc and copper, as well as vitamins A, C and a variety of B vitamins. It can help to inhibit the degradation of elastin, thereby maintaining the skin's elasticity and preventing the forming of lines. It can be used for cleansing, helping to promote your tone and even out your complexion

Rose Petal Powder

A very fine powder, made from the fresh blooms, with a lovely scent and a gorgeous pinkish brown. It exfoliates gently without stripping your skin of vital oils, and it's rich in vitamins C and E, through which it could help boost collagen production. This can be beneficial for maintaining your skins health and help to reduce lines.

It has antioxidant qualities and can help to tighten the pores, working as a toner for your facial skin whilst smoothening your complexion.
